I understand now why bloggers disappear right after picking up their child. It has been a whirlwind! DoubleShot has been with us for six days and today is day three at home. For now, I’m just going to post some photos and will hopefully be able to write a real blog post soon.
First photo with all three of us
Later on day one – in front of the orphanage
Day two – Tainan Confucius temple
Day two – Baba and DoubleShot on the bullet train back to Taipei
Day three – Hello Kitty Cafe – she wasn’t really a fan!
Day four – Visiting Taipei 101
Overall, things are going really well! We are so blessed to have her in our lives!
I’m very glad that things are going so well. It’s got to be a huge adjustment for all concerned.
I’m glad you made it home safe!
Many prayers for all of you as you adjust to this new life. Congrats!
Congratulations! And Jenga? Genius!
I thought you may have been stuck in all the bad weather over there. Congratulations on your beautiful daughter.
We were very blessed to leave the day before all of the bad weather hit! Our flight was very, very full. I think everyone was trying to leave before the typhoon hit.
What a brave little girl to leave all that is familiar behind. She seems to be game to try everything.
I hope she is enjoying her new home as much as you are enjoying the change on your part.
๐ It can sort of feel as if you will never catch up again. Ever. Ever ever. ๐ Which is exactly how it’s supposed to be but it does make communicating online a lot trickier!
Glad to hear an update whenever you have time to give one. Understand completely why and when you cannot!
So lovely to see your post and the photos. You’ve all been in my thoughts. I hope the adjustment for everyone continues to go well.
Love! Love! Love! So happy for your family of three!
